Otto “Otl” Aicher was a German graphic designer and typographer.
At the London Design Festival this year you will find an exhibition of his work hosted by dn&co, originally designed for the small town of Isny im Allgäu in Germany, and created during the same time as the Munich olympics graphics.
His style and pictograms we’re classed as ahead of his time and have influenced graphic design to this day.
If you’d like to know more about his work, there’s plenty out there to feast your eyes upon.
We’ve included a few links at the bottom of the page.
